"great hosts, Bernard and his partner were fantastic. great place to relax for two weeks, perfect to reach out to 4 great beaches close by; rental car (good to book at Athena airport) is a strong advice. clean property with lots of beautiful details, charming old house. If one loves to prepare food yourself then you will want a kitchen a bit more complete. but everything else - bathroom, two sleeping rooms with airco, exterior with veranda (schadow) and the nice also small pool perfect to relax...

Access to the terrace and the jacuzzi was a plus. The owner was also very helpful and flexible with checkout hours too. "Although check in was at 3 we had to wait an hour to 4 before it was ready. When it was time to check out we weren’t granted an extra hour that we would have appreciated to coordinate our ferry ride but were told we could hang around the hotel no problem. We decided to stay at the restaurant for dinner one evening and although there was only the two of us in the restaurant the service was very slow and they didn’t have the wine we ordered from the wine list. We only wanted a glass each and the only other option was to order a bottle. On our second day we returned around 4 pm from a day out and the room still hadn’t been made. The front desk we assume hadn’t told the cleaning staff that they’d need a key as our door code didn’t work. Small inconveniences but overall the hotel is good and modern and the room was spacious. We did try the spa and it was excellent! Oh the included buffet breakfast was excellent!"

"This was a beautiful hotel. Great location and wonderful facilities. The room was lovely - our balcony faced the pool. The pool area is large with plenty of sunbeds ( though people still insist on saving sunbeds for the whole day, even when not using them - very annoying!) Everywhere was spotlessly clean. The staff were so friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced! We had breakfast each day, but also had some lunches and evening meals. Would highly recommend and would return if we venture back to Syros! "
