Perfect Little Cottage

We were in town to celebrate my daughters’ birthdays. The place was perfect for our group- myself, two 19 year olds, 12 year old, 10 year old, and two miniature Dachshunds. The bedroom upstairs was the perfect size for the kids and the downstairs room was ideal for me. The cottage is even lovelier in person, as the pictures don’t do the tall ceilings justice. The attention to detail that Tony and Ron put into every inch of this home shows what a labor of love this cottage is for them. I’ve never stayed at a rental home that was as well stocked as this one. They make sure you have almost anything you could need. I appreciated all of the beach items they provide such as chairs, wagons, and toys. We would love to stay at the cottage again next time we’re in town.

Family Beach Trip

We loved our stay in the cottage! It came fully stocked with everything you'd need for a beach vacation... complete with sand toys for the kids 😁. Walkable distance to the beach each day, food and water bowls for the dog..the kids loved the upstairs. Will stay again!

Perfect for Family of 4

Rob was extremely thoughtful for our stay over Easter by leaving some Easter bunnies and eggs for our young kids. It was easy to walk to the beach and the house had everything you could need to have a good beach day. We would stay there again 100%.

Family get away

Property accommodations matched the listing description. Clean, and had amenities including WiFi and stocked kitchen. Easy check in/check out. Host was responsive to any questions. Walking distance from the Seawall which was a plus. Main level of house had one bedroom with a queen. Upstairs had 2 beds that was perfect for our teenage kiddos. All the comforts of home. Living room had adequate seating so we could enjoy some card games together as a family. Nice back deck for morning coffee. Would stay here again when visiting the Galveston area!

Charming Little Home!

We had a great time staying at this home by the beach. The walk to the Seawall was short. We took the dogs daily. The Strand is also very close. The home has water bowls and leashes for the dogs. They also had blankets to cover the couch as it’s lower to the ground so the dogs thought it was for them. We had everything we needed and felt right at home! We will be back next year!

Cozy but comfortable

The place is small but very comfortable. The four of us with a dog fit great for a weekend. Kids enjoyed the upstairs space. Location is great for the things we wanted to do.

Always a pleasure

We have stayed at The Cottage on 14th many times over the last 10 years and it is always a wonderful experience. Ron and Tony are fantastic hosts and so great to work with. The house is clean and comfortable with lots of beautiful personal touches. I love waking up early, making the short walk to the beach to watch the sunrise, and then coming back for coffee on the back porch. The house is convenient to everything Galveston has to offer and one of my favorite places to stay on the island.

Back to school wknd escape

We rented the Cottage on 14th for us, and our 2 teens. 17 and 19. Quick weekend getaway before the baby starts his Sr. Year of high school Monday. The proximity to everything was great. We got in early Friday and Ron was quick to answer our call, check in was a breeze. The house had everything we needed! The back yard area was beautiful with well kept vegetation and ample seating and lights. Great place!!! We enjoyed it. If I had one suggestion, add a full length mirror!

Beach Peace and sun raze

This was a small comfy perfect spot for my crew. Very personable of the house and pets. Very accommodating to little needs such as the supplied coffee, a pair of scissors and flash lights!

The perfect little beach cottage. Exceeded our expectations. Lovely beach décor throughout the home. Very clean and comfortable. It was nice to feel that our dogs were welcome there. Cozy and comfortable

We loved this stay! Everything was very cozy, our child loved the upstairs bedroom. Tony and Ron thought of everything a person could need while there. Including lists of pet friendly locations, a beach wagon, and more home comforts. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent cottage

The cottage on 14th street is amazing. Very cute and cozy. Very Dog friendly. The back yard is all paved with a nice privacy fence. Great location within walking distance of the beach and historical sites. Grab it quick, you won’t be disappointed.
