Confirm the property has WiFi before you book!

My husband and I booked 2 nights for President's Day weekend. The house was amazing and was a short walk to the beach--about 3 min. When we checked in, we noticed the WiFi did not work. This is a problem for us as we both rely on WiFi for our work. We alerted the property manger immediately and they said they would work on it. In addition, the TVs did not work so we only had local stations. Long story short, we never had WiFi. They sent a tech the morning after we reported it at 9 am (without telling us!!) and he said it was due to an outage in the area. Well, we checked with AT&T and there was no outage. If you truly want a vacation without WiFi or TV, then this is your place! But I would definitely check on this before you book in case you need it. Also, cell service is horrible in the house. Also, the garage door didn't work and half the lights needed bulb replacements -- super high ceilings so we couldn't do it ourselves. They also had a bunch of video games but no instructions on how to use. The house manual was basically one page! Anyways, house was super cute and near the beach. All in all it was a stressful and not relaxing time for us.
