El Rincon de la Hacienda at the old Canarian winery Sancho is a place to take a deep breath. The crystal clear mountain air, the scent of pine, fig and almond trees and the special sun situation mostly over the cloud cover of the island inspire body, mind and soul. The property with a direct view of the Atlantic Ocean is at an medically optimal height of 1,380 meters above sea level. on a 30,000 m² plot of land that extends over several hills. Original Canarian architecture and a high-quality and practical equipment signal excitement and create a relaxed atmosphere. A separate entrance and the secluded secluded location with a distance of approx. 70 meters from the main house guarantee absolute peace and privacy. The starry sky is so beautiful that El Rincon is also used for scientific stargazing.

- The hacienda is only suitable for younger children to a limited extent as there are many steps due to the hillside location and wine terraces.

- Even though some photos may give a different impression, we are not a 'luxury holiday resort' but an organic winery with holiday homes.

- We strive to make our guests' stay as pleasant as possible and offer various service offers that go beyond a normal holiday home standard. We kindly ask you to inquire about the availability of these offers in advance.

in-house wine:

We manage our winery according to biological principles in cooperation with the successful winemaker Don Alberto, who has already won several international awards with his outstanding red wines. In 2011 we filled 300 bottles of completely hand-picked Listán Prieto grapes exclusively for our guests. End an eventful day of hiking or swimming in a relaxed way with a neat glass of our in-house red wine.

Harvest & enjoy:

The vineyard blooms and grows practically all year round. While the almond and fruit blossom period is impressive from mid-January to early March, the first fruits begin to ripen in April / May. Apricots, figs, lemons, oranges, peaches, plums, apples, pears, strawberries and of course the sweet grapes grow. You can make extensive use of our fruit trees until November. From November to December the sweet chestnuts (chestnuts) are waiting for you to harvest them.

Our own herb garden provides tasty ingredients in the kitchen all year round.

Guided hikes:

We are happy to provide you with experienced hiking guides who can show you the most beautiful hikes on La Palma. Our hikes lead us through the mystical laurel forests, to the sacred dragon trees, through mysterious gorges, to the bizarre crater rim and to the sea. The highlight is the circular hike through the impressive world inside the world's largest erosion crater, the "Caldera de Taburiente", home of the last king of the "Guanches". Again and again we will encounter the traces of the indigenous people. La Palma is a very powerful volcanic island that touches our hearts and appeals to all the senses. A special kind of holiday experience.
