Celebrating 🎉5th Anniversary special rates in April Sun-Thurs 🎉

Located atop Bluff Mountain overlooking Pigeon Forge and the Smoky Mountains, Reed's Retreat is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath cabin. This beautiful cabin has amazing views that will take your breath away. You will feel like you can touch the heavens as you gaze out over long range views of the Smokies from your wrap around deck. Beautifully furnished, comfortable, and updated, you will feel right at home. Snuggle by the wood burning fireplace or roast marshmallows by the fire pit beneath the stars. Enjoy the beauty by relaxing in your hot tub after a day of exploring. At night, the view allows you to see the lights of Pigeon Forge sparkling in the distance!

*4 WHEEL DRIVE AND TRAVEL INSURANCE ARE RECOMMENDED DURING WINTER MONTHS.
Mountain roads can become hazardous or impassable in snow and ice. Your safety is a priority, consider buying Travel Insurance. We highly recommend it.

Reed's Retreat can comfortably sleep 6 guests. The cabin has a bedroom downstairs with a queen bed and a bathroom across the hall. There are 2 sides to the loft, 1 side has a Foosball table, the other side has a queen bedroom with a bathroom. The cabin is easily accessible with only three steps to the front door. Conveniently located 8 miles off Wears Valley Road, only 5 miles from Pigeon Forge, the cabin offers the best of both worlds: secluded yet convenient to attractions, shopping, and restaurants. Reed’s Retreat is perfect for a family vacation, honeymoon, anniversary, or couple’s getaway.

BE SAFE - The last 1/4 mile to cabin is a steep, curvy, one lane road, paved private road. Normally a 2-wheel drive is sufficient but inclement weather requires a 4 wheel/all-wheel drive. In the winter we highly recommend travel insurance in case mountain roads are impassable due to snow or ice.
BE PREPARED - Only a starter pack of toilet paper, trash bags, etc. is provided so bring extra or you can purchase locally if needed.
BE AWARE - You are in Bear Country, do not feed bears or leave food in cars. Lock the car door.
BRING YOUR OWN - Charcoal / Firewood / Coffee
NO PETS - $300 fine and asked to leave
KEEP IN TOUCH - If you have any problem let us know while you are there, we will try our best to solve it.
Limit 6 Guests maximum, including children, if exceed the fine is $100 per guest.
Motorcycles and trailers are not recommended or safe.
Hot Tubs are used at your own risk. Be Safe.

Nearby Things to Do: Dollywood, Splash Mountain, and the legendary Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner Show are all great ways to spend your vacation. You can also explore the Smokey Mountain National Park and Cades Cove with day hikes, horseback tours, and zipline adventures. In nearby Gatlinburg, about a 30-minute drive, Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies, the Gatlinburg Mountain Coaster, and the quaint Arts and Crafts Community await!
The Trillium Venue located on Bluff Mountain is only 2 miles from the cabin.

Anniversary trip
The only problem we had was when we arrived. We had an extra long traffic delay in Chattanooga (traveling from East Texas), so it was about 9:30 pm and dark. We missed the very last turn to the cabin, but I called the host and she redirected us. We did not see any “Reed’s Retreat” signs. We did see an “Oliver’s Outlook” sign, but missed the one at the last turn. The next morning we saw the last sign, but the word “Reed’s” is broken off. I have no doubt, though, that we would have found our cabin the first time had it still been daylight. Wonderful views! and the cabin was perfect for us!! We were not ready to leave.

Stayed for two nights and visited pigeon forge/gatlinburg. Awesome view and more than enough room for the two of us and can accommodate another couple as well.

Great view of Pigeon and Gatlingburg, but…
Overall we enjoyed our stay and the fabulous view from the top of the mountain, along with the view of fireworks during New Years! The cabin was clean and the jacuzzi had fresh water, had clean towels, extra sheets for the beds, and plenty parking space outside. What we did NOT enjoy was the drive up the mountain: Renatta Way is a one-way, curvy, long and extremely steep paved road with a rock wall on one side and a cliff on the other. Luckily we did not encounter a car coming from the opposite way and no snow or ice while we were there. If it snows rest assure that you would be stuck up there even with a 4x4 vehicle unless this private 45-degree switch back road is salted - if it does it would be an important note to be added by the owner specially for winter stays. All beds are queen size and could use new mattresses, and hopefully larger ones, specially the loft bed. The loft bed is very noisy and uncomfortable. We had to purchase mattress pads for both beds while there. There is hardly any kitchen condiments - not a turn-off but it is nice to arrive at a cabin and have at least the basics like sugar, creamer and coffee. If you are looking for a stunning view of the city this is a great cabin to stay, but if you are like us and like a good night sleep and don’t want to run the risk of being stuck in a snowy road on vacation, this may not be the cabin for you.

Amazing view!
If you are looking for a cabin with an amazing view, this is it. We enjoyed our stay and the kids really enjoyed the hot tub. I would highly recommend that you have a vehicle that either has the ability to manually shift gears or a four wheel drive as the roads leading to the cabin are very steep and has sharp turns.
