"Having decided to visit Mont st Michel at the last minute we stumbled upon Les Hauts. It has the most incredible views across the bay. The property is set in beautiful grounds of tropical plants, such as palms, mimosa and Magnolias. From the house you can walk to the beach ( 5 minutes) a small bar and bakers ( very good cakes and baguettes). Swimming is best at high tide. "Wife and I are from Seattle WA and loved this hotel. Owned by a couple who own and operate it. We were greeted by Eve (owner) who checked us in, helped carry our luggage and showed us our room. Friendly, speaks excellent English and helped us decide where to eat dinner. The accommodations were comfortable, no complaints except that the wifi was spotty (they know it’s an issue and are trying to fix it). If we ever come back to visit Mont Saint Michel again I’ll come back to Les Montois."
