“Had a little difficulty in locating due to relying on "Google" rather than Gary's excellent directions! Location on Google maps has now been updated. Easy access, everything found as listed in Gary's detailed information sheet. Very clean and tidy. Host has great attention to detail. Bed very comfortable, slept well every night. Quiet location. Well equiped kitchen, with wellcome pack of essentials and treats for the week. Comfortable settee and good smart TV. Good Wifi. Convenient bus stop next……

“We booked very last minute and Karen couldn’t have been more helpful! We needed a base near Snowdon and this is a 15 minute drive away. The site itself is just what you’d hope : a bar ( Friday night was bingo!), a lovely river, the grounds beautifully kept and a well stocked shop with all sorts from loo roll to jewellery! The chalet was spotless, very well equipped and incredibly comfortable, with lovely touches that help to create that home from home feel. Parking was easy in September, we were……

“We had a lovely comfortable stay for a week in the cabin. Nice and warm with plenty of heaters to use if you needed to. The decking area was nice and enclosed so our little dog was secure,there’s also an off lead dog walking area on the site which is very pretty with a little brook running through it. The cabin is also quite private with hedges around it, the views are spectacular.”

“We loved our time here. Although the weather wasn’t great, we enjoyed wonderful walks on the beach - particularly crossing the bridge to Barmouth. The hills behind the house are beautiful too, and the whole area is just lovely. The hot tub was great and we enjoyed the novelty of having a record player - so much so that we’ve come home and bought one! I left something behind and Eloise kindly offered to post it back to me too. We’d definitely return!”

“Lovely break for 3 days. Lodge was very clean and well stocked with all essential items. Host was present for check in and was available for any queries. The only minor complaint would be that the bunk bed was not too comfortable but other than that a really enjoyable stay.”

“We loved our stay and got some wonderful hiking in. We enjoyed food at the local pubs and the convenience of self catering. The local shop was well stocked. Wish there had been a clothes washer in the place as we got pretty muddy and wet on our hike but other than that fantastic place with everything we needed. ”
