Loft in San Lorenzo, two minutes from the aquarium; with parking possibility

In the oldest and most popular district of the historic center, 50 meters from the Cathedral of San Lorenzo and 300 from the Old Port and the aquarium, we rent a newly renovated loft, with kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The apartment, bound by the Fine Arts, combines ancient elements - a wonderful ceiling made of wooden beams, estimated to date back to 1500, as well as the terracotta floor in the bedroom, a delightful marble sink and even the old brick fluvial drain - with modern elements such as iron rods that support the mezzanine from the ceiling. Because of this particularity, not only aesthetic but also structural, it has been published in both interior design and architecture magazines. It is fully furnished and features high-end appliances, from the dishwasher to the combined oven (microwave and ventilated), DVD player, TV, safe, washing machine, hairdryer, fridge and freezer. There are seven beds: a double bed on the mezzanine, two sofa beds (one single and one double) on the low floor of the open space (yellow in the photos) and a double bed in the bedroom. The loft is located on the second floor without a lift of a building built around the eleventh century by the Camilla family which remains today the oldest testimony in the world of 'tower house'. It exposes to the south, it is very sunny and overlooks an open and green square. In the morning you will be awakened by birdsong! It is located in the pedestrian area and therefore enjoys maximum silence; it is however possible to drive up to the front door - consult the genovaparcheggi site. it for details and conditions. In less than five minutes there are several public car parks, as well as the main metro and bus stops. It is the ideal base for visiting on foot, the Aquarium area (3-5 min), the center (3-5 min) and the museum area. The Cathedral of San Lorenzo is 100 m away. With the ancient elevator sung by the poet Caproni you can reach the Spianata di Castelletto in a few minutes, from which you can enjoy an unmissable view of the entire city.

NOTE 1: I have the possibility to rent a parking space in the silo of Marina Park in Via della Marina at 15 Euro per day. The Silos is 700m (8 min walk) from the apartment.
