「The information about the internet connection provided by Vrbo was incorrect. Fortunately, there was a sheet of paper in the cabin with correct information. The bed was very soft--so soft that it was hard to even sit on the edge of the bed without sliding off. The access information provided by Vrbo was incorrect--there was no place to enter the access code. Fortunately, the cabin was unlocked and there were keys on the kitchen counter. It is a delightful little cabin which served us well.」

「Best. Cabin. Ever!! If you don’t have a vehicle with AWD, go get one ASAP and get to this cabin! Everyone should experience this at least once. For those who love any kind of camping, this is heaven; for those who don’t, this is mountain glamping! The shower is amazing- cold but my skin never felt so good afterwards! Sunset, night stars, and sunrise all like watching God paint- unbelievable. We reheated leftover pizza in the iron skillet on the propane burner and it was crispy deliciousness with...

「Amazing host and property with a spectacular view! We'll be back again soon.」

「Jody was so welcoming! She is very informative about the area and offers suggestions. Love her animals that greet you as well. Communal outside areas were very nice. A nice quiet retreat at a great price! Very clean rooms!! I would definitely recommend and would not hesitate to stay there again. Thank you for your hospitality!」

「Enjoyed ourselves a lot. Clean & had most everything we needed but would have appreciated stairs for hot tub as we weren’t able to use it as it was.」

「Fully furnished kitchen with good quality cookware (no Teflon), close to grocery store, Lake Lure, and a lovely private backyard and screened-in porch. Every detail from closet hangers, luggage rack, beach towels, and toiletries were provided. One of the best places I've every stayed!」

「Loved, loved, loved this cabin. My grandchildren enjoyed the loft area, and learned how to use the record player, which they thought at first was a broken radio!! What a hoot!! The cabin was clean, comfy, well-equipped kitchen, bathrooms, and beds were very comfortable. We loved hanging out on the screened porch. Lake Lure beach was within walking distance as well as Chimney Rock. The property manager was welcoming and answered all our questions; she was very helpful. We hope to come...

「We were looking for a quiet cabin with mountain views and a hot tub that wasn’t toooooo remote and that’s exactly what this is. Property is surrounded by other houses but we only saw one other person the entire time (and one bear minding his own business walking down the street). Check-in and out were low stress and easy. House was nicely kept up and clean without feeling too fancy to be comfortable. Fooseball table and hot tub were fun. Comfortable beds! Appreciated the nightlights for the...
