"The cabin was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We had a great time and really enjoyed spending time on the back porch. There is only one small criticism, both bedrooms had were dark especially the upstairs room. There was only lamp light. However this would not stop us from staying in this cabin again. Thanks!"

"Great property for a family vacation. Everyone from 10 - 70 years old had a wonderful time. The extra amenities offered for our use (kayaks, lily pad, rafts) were much appreciated. Kids loved jumping into the water from the top deck and playing with the multitude of board games available. Kitchen was very well stocked. Melissa was always so prompt with responses and a pleasure to work with. Would stay again if ever back in the area."

"Absolutely stunning property on the lake! Every aspect was smooth from booking to checkin to check out. The home is beautiful inside and very well maintained. We appreciated having everything we needed to prepare meals, beach towels and the game table downstairs. The views from the home are spectacular. We hope to stay again next summer."

"House was fantastic for our month long stay away from Florida heat. Isolated and quiet yet minutes from lovely Hayesville. House was on the river and we loved every minute. Screened porch was our “go to” place for AM coffee, reading, relaxing, and afternoon wine. House stocked extremely well(kitchen, towels, etc.). We loved Hayesville and Hiawassee. My sister and I also fly fished Fires Creek, Mission Dam, Tusqiutee Creek & Nantahala River. Tough summer fishing but it is “fishing “. If I could give more stars than 5 for Wood Haven I would. Theresa was wonderful and very responsive. One of the best VRBO’s I’ve experienced."

"The house was very clean and in a quiet neighborhood! We loved our morning walks with our dog! There is deer everywhere you look! The lake access is great! You can park your vehicle and swim!"

"Our family of 12, plus 3 fur babies, was overwhelmed by this magnificent house. The amenities were overflowing and everywhere we looked, there were more surprises. Smores, wine, toys, kayaks, tons of snacky treats (for the humans and the pups), and this is just a short list! The lakefront view was breathtaking, and it was so peaceful sitting on the dock and the covered porches. The kids, ages 11, 10, 9, 8 and 4 were in a constant state of having fun. We truly were very sad leaving such a fantastic property that we called home for five nights. We will be back!"
