The lake was very close but was not clear. My dog hesitated to go in the water so that made me think twice considering the problems at Lake Winnipesaukee with Cyanobacteria. There are a great many pluses regarding this place, dog friendly, modern and well equipped kitchen and bath and all very clean. The problems I encountered were that the shower floor was quite slippery which was a concern for me as I am getting older. The mattress on the only bed was very uncomfortable. I think it was a very thick futon. Did a number on my back and even my husband who can fall asleep anywhere found it uncomfortable. Finally the bedroom is very cramped and did not have a place to place our clothing so we had to leave them in the suitcase in the hall outside the bathroom. It was manageable since we were only there for two nights.

Everything about this property was wonderful! Extremely clean, and right across from a lake that was absolutely beautiful in early October. The attention to detail was amazing, seemingly every amenity was considered. Lisa is a thoughtful, diligent host as well. Would not hesitate to stay again or recommend to anyone!

My husband and I travelled around New England and stayed at multiple locations. Yet this was our favorite! We both agree that we would (will) stay again but this time for several days rather than just one night! Lisa though!!! I think we should be friends! We found this place once we booked concert tickets at Bank Pavilion NH months in advance, and thought it to be a good location to stay. Communication with our host was immediate and accommodating, which was much appreciated since we were traveling from out of state. The coziness of the place was great, and the attention to detail within the decor and the comforts made it feel welcoming and inviting. We had access to everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and look forward to returning next time a concert comes to town! Highly recommend!

This property was just as advertised. Cute cozy little home and Lisa had all the right touches for an excellent day. It was neat, clean and comfortable. Close to so many things depending on what you would like to do and Lisa had a book with great suggestions from restaurants, to hikes, to shopping and more. It had everything I needed. I hope to bring my husband back another time. Would love to visit in the fall. The outdoor area with a grill and fire pit was so nice to have along with the beach area only a very short walk away. Thank you Lisa.

Only problem: occupants of unit on 1st floor have no lake view from indoor. Only window has a Street view. Porch of 1st floor is behind garage in fact and no access from Apt on porch. You also can view lake from patio on front of Apt but not in winter time of course.
