“The stay at this pousada was outstanding. We were 5 nights there and had a double room with ocean view. The room itself was not too big but enough space to put our 2 pcs of luggage there and all very clean. Staff was very friendly and speaks good English. They also supported with several bookings and had great tips for us. Breakfast was good as well. The location is not directly in the middle of the center and therefore not many people passing by. Just Some nights we could hear the noise from……

“A pousada fica a beira mar, roupas de cama e de banho novas e limpas. A limpeza do quarto era feita diariamente e toalhas trocadas sempre que pedíamos. Café da manhã farto e à tarde tinha café com bolo. Equipe da pousada super atenciosa com os hóspedes e sempre bem humorados.”

“Extremely peaceful and idyllic place. The room was clean and looked new. The bed was comfy. Only downside was that the room was quite small and it was missing some functional additions (e.g hanger where to hang the towels). Also it would have been very helpful to have more detailed direction where to go. Once the boat dropped us off, there were no signs which way to go. It was a small walk in the jungle but first time quite confusing. ”

“Perhaps the best hotel at Ilha Grande. Located away from Abrao. 5 min by hotel boat taxi, cost 20 BRL (4 USD) during the day hours and 40 BRL (8 USD) when it is dark, i.e. after 6pm. Walking is impossible for much of the time as the pathway is frequently flooded. Make sure you call/send whatsapp message to the reception in advance about your trips there and back. There is normally one trip every hour. The boat is quite small and at the beginning hard to identify but after a while you get used to……

“Campsite has a very chill and relaxing atmosphere. Probably the cleanest campsite we have ever visited. Facilities are great and everything in the kitchen works fine. Staff is very helpful and speak okay English. We were allowed to store our luggage from checkout until our boat left in the evening. The tours that the hostel recommend is a bit expensive though.”
