“What a magical space, as soon as we entered the property all the stress and worries just dissapeared, the views are jaw dropping . A lovely space to just sit at one of the many windows or outside balcony with a nice glass of wine or cup of tea and just relax and watch the world go by. The village of roundstone is so charming with friendly locals and choices of places to eat and drink on your doorstep. A very special place indeed. “Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour dans la maison d’Una. Elle est idéalement située, aux portes du Connemara. La vue du jardin est magnifique et nous avons eu la chance d’avoir une très belle météo. La maison est proche des points les plus sympas du Connemara (Clifden, Kilemore…). Nous avons aussi adoré la quiétude de Rosmuck, de Lettermore (que nous adorons) , Carraroe ou Carna, Ballyconneely. La maison est bien chauffée et très confortable. Tout était parfait. Merci Una.”

“Debbie and her place were amazing!! The pictures don’t do justice to this restful place. I could feel myself relaxing the moment I stepped out of the car with the view, sounds of the waves and smell of the sea. While it’s remote, it is also very near to anything you would need. The house was immaculate, thoughtfully laid out and well stocked. Debbie was delightful and a joy! Next time, our stay will be longer!!”

“Clare was most welcoming upon our arrival. Street parking was easy. Minor issues that might be addressed would include instructions for the hob(they were not in the oven drawer) and the new coffee machine. Location was good for touring the town and area.”

Insgesamt ist das Haus jedem zu empfehlen, der Ruhe und einen guten Ausgangspunkt für den eher rauen Westen sucht, und längere Anfahrtswege an die Küste nicht scheut. Die Seelage und die Seeblicke sind jedoch einmalig.”

“Enjoyed our time at the Tievemore house. Great view. Comfortable accommodations. Would recommend this highly. Ross beach was terrific bonus. There is BBQ grill left charcoal and lighter fo the next visitors. Confused about the recycling..Is glass handled separately? Think the Wi-Fi router needs replacing. Worked fine and then nothing. “Sunnybank House is exactly as described. Highlights for our group of 18 family and relatives include: evening gatherings around the two peat-burining fireplaces with a variety of Irish Whiskeys; a very short walk to the pubs and restaraunts in Clifden, having a chef cook a delicious dinner in our own kitchen for all of us to enjoy, sightseeing all around Connemara; golf at the Connemara Links course just 15 minutes away; and wonderful pub visits out in the country...especially Paddy Coynes pub……

“What an incredible and comfortable place. The views, property and region were stunning. Loved the cottage and its decor and the peaceful easy energy that surrounded us. We stayed eight days and enjoyed many day trips throughout the region. Plus several days simply being in the awe inspiring space watching the tides come in and flow out. “We had an enjoyable stay in the cottage. There is a lot of useful information material, but some information was outdated (WiFi password, name and number of the local manager, number of the proprietor). This made it difficult to contact manager or proprietor when we encountered a problem. Once contact was established, the problem was resolved smoothly. There is a nice 8 km walk starting from the cottage, the finest part of which is a stretch of coastline that is only accessible at low tide.……

“Im Grossen und Ganzen war der Aufenthalt angenehm, Umgebung und ruhige Lage sind ansprechend. Wir waren wohl die ersten Gäste nach langer Zeit (Winterruhe) und hatten in der ersten Tagen mit mangelnder Heizleistung zu tun. Versuche des verantwortlichen Ansprechpartners, die Heizung zu programmieren, um eine stets angenehme Temperatur zu erreichen, schlugen fehl. Wir mussten oft boostern, was dann zu Überhitzung führte. Auch hier gilt: zum Beginn der Saison sollen alle Funktionen geprüft und……
