The room wasn’t completely clean when we arrived. The bin hadn’t been emptied and there was still some hair in the shower… it was a basic stay and the room smelt musty and the water smelt eggy. The view is sublime but it was very basic.

It’s Ok, we’ve stayed for 3 nights, it is clean but there’s other stuff that needs to improve like the stairs, it’s kinda falling apart and the lighting is a bit off, I need more brighter light.

We loved the cabin and the great outdoors. Community kitchen was well stocked with everything to cook our meal. The dog loved it. Lots of ground squirrels to keep her interest.

We were prepared for the rustic vibe, but a few slight fixes would've made the stay much more enjoyable. cabin 6 had 1/3 lights working in the bathroom, and the other lighting available made for a room that was too dark to read by in the evening or to apply makeup in the morning. The room was clean except for dead flies in the window tracks. The shower is large but the rough towels and washcloths (very worn) made me wish, they would've spent a bit of the profits on some absorbent comfortable towels. The sheets were of the same clean but very worn and pilling variety, such that hairs and fuzz stick to the fabric and give "ick" vibes. Surprisingly the firm foam bed was very comfortable. My hubby thought that a wood stump would add to the rustic ambiance and double as a second end table for the second bed. the small kitchenette was perfect for our needs. And some antlers instead of a picture would up the decor. We wandered around in the morning to get a feel for the kitchen, firepit, view, etc and liked the casual red-neck atmosphere.

I do not recommend these cabins. The property itself is maintained reasonably well, but there were several issues that made our stay unpleasant. Manure from the first cabin was draining onto the walking path leading to the cabin we were staying in, which was unsanitary and unacceptable. The shared kitchen is fairly large, but it was dirty, cluttered, and poorly organized. Overall, I would only stay here if there were absolutely no other options available

Location was unique with steep drive up -- nice view of the mountains after walking through the dense growth of foliage, shrubs and tall trees. No lighting in the kitchen area and overall general poor lighting. Appliances ok. Bring your own potable (Bottled) water and bathroom tissue, JUST IN CASE. Bathroom was clean and ok overall.
