“This place definitely deserves a five-star rating across the board. The location is absolutely perfect, and the deck adds a nice touch to the overall experience. Our kids were mesmerized by the boats passing by, and we had an incredible time as a family. Despite the rain during our trip, we still managed to relax and enjoy quality time together. The space was more than enough for everyone, and our host was exceptional. We are definitely planning on staying here again next time we're in town,……

“Stunning, spacious property in a great location. We were in town for a reunion and the house was perfect. Very nicely updated and way more room than expected. Close enough to downtown to walk or make the short drive. Host was clear with communication and check-in and check0out were a breeze. Highly highly recommend this property for any stay in Natchitoches, especially if you have a decent size group.”

“On the upside - great location; loved the covered boat stall and dock; beds were comfortable; plenty of parking for boat trailer; A/C works! Plenty of towels & cookware. On the downside - the frig was full of food that had been left from previous visitors - like long ago visitors. We thru out everything that had stuff growing on it. The shower head was not adjustable so a bit uncomfortable. This was our second time going and we will definitely go back.”

“We rented for a small family reunion where we wanted to be able to enjoy a quiet gathering in a beautiful setting. This one was great. The house was everything we expected and the patio and view of cane lake was beautiful. The owner added his own touch with snacks, coffee pods, shampoo, dishwasher and laundry detergent and other stuff. Plenty of bath linens for a 3 night stay for 6 people. We couldn't have been more pleased with everything and would stay again.”

“Every amenity one could possibly need for a lake house, both indoor and outdoor. Dock area really stood out for its accessibility, convenience, and provision for outdoor activities for all ages.”

“The space was amazing—clean, quiet and peaceful. Tucked away from the main road, but not too far. A few miles from Natchitoches, but not a straight shot. Definitely would make a day trip there as opposed to a night trip. Great communication from host! If you want to “unplug” and enjoy peace and quiet, this is the place.”

“First, we never intended to stay at this property. The original VRBO we had booked canceled last minute, because of flooding in that area. When we arrived, we were very pleased with the cleanliness, and beyond the normal comforts were available, should we need anything. We travel with all of our own blankets, and even pack laundry soap and dishwasher detergents, but had we needed for anything, the host had seen to every detail. A few nice games were available for the kids, throw blankets were……
