「Location is great and parking is included. The maid needs talking too though as we got woken early both mornings by her clattering around and slamming doors. Car chargers outside were also broken which when you gave an electric car is a huge problem!!!」

「Owner was very responsive in bringing iron and hair dryer for us to use. (Hair dryer was dirty and smelled of wet dog—bring your own!). I bit small and funky but served our purpose. It was clean and owner was responsive. Easy check in but a bit tricky finding the place at first. Nice location for day trips and hikes.」

「We were in the king room way upstairs tiny stairs that a person my age should not be climbing. The bed was uncomfortable. We were there during the heat wave and had to depart a day early due to lack of AC and ventilation. Location was good and staff was friendly. Front desk not manned at all times. Hard to get service. Still have not received email with receipt from property. Not much choice in this area of hotels, just don’t book upstairs rooms!」

「The Ettington Park hotel is an extraordinary English Family Castle with a great & long history. Our stay in this hotel was extremely comfortable and relaxed. Despite belated arrival at night, we were all welcomed by their staff with thoughfully arranged dinner & wine & porter services of many bulk luggage. 「Stayed in the 'Dunlin room' Very poor lighting in the corridor. Wallpaper patched up poorly in the corridor by the bedrooms. Noisy extractor fan in our bathroom. Breakfast a little underwhelming, (overdone bacon and chewy sausage. Staff very attentive and polite. No signal on the tv celestial channels on two days. Limited bathroom amenities. Cobwebs on the windows in the breakfast area. 」
