Property is showing its age a bit but was obviously a luxury hotel at one point. Everything is very clean and the staff are excellent. We took advantage of the available breakfast every day and it was very good. Here again the staff were great and even offered to package breakfast for my son who could not get to the restaurant on morning. Location is great if you have a car (we did).

The facility is nice, though a little outdated. Think of it as a high-end hotel from 10 years ago and you'll get the picture. The rooms are MASSIVE and the big hot tub is a life-saver after the long walks to the hotel (About 30 minutes from Gotemba station). Closest convenience store is about a 15 minute walk so make sure you stock up before you go to the hotel!! I would book here again for my next Hakone or Mt. Fuji trip

We stayed in a double room with mountain view for one night. We hoped to get a good view on Mt. Fuji while soaking in the private Jaccuzi but unfortunately, due to bad weather, there was no view whatsoever. However, the private Jacuzzi was still a very great experience, regardless of the weather. The room was also extremely spacious and clean. The beds were really comfortable and the room was equipped with a huge tv, a microwave, a mini fridge and a water dispenser. You can also change the color of the lighting in the room. The staff was also very friendly. The hotel is a little remote from the center, so we had to walk a few minutes to the next shops and restaurants but in turn, we really got to enjoy the peace and quiet of this hotel. We will definitely stay in this hotel again, next time we visit Japan.

Awesome hotel with great big rooms. Only downside is that there is literally nothing nearby. There is 1-2 restaurants within a 10 minute walk, buses only come and go till 6pm. The location is the only thing setting this hotel back from 5 stars, but we found that is was a great stay for our price point.
