"Rooms are dated like many other places like this in the area but you can tell they are trying to keep up. Carpet definitely needs replaced and there is evidence of water damage, but room was clean and the view was great."

"This place was great!!! Rooms are clean . It was quite even though its right there in town. It wasn't expensive and it is 3 minutes from the casino. Would definitely stay again.Only thing is the Breakfast was really just grab and go ...No Hot food!!"

"Yes, the breakfast menu was good. Desk staff, excellent. Room, clean and comfortable. Liked having a tub in the bath. Also nice to have an additional sink outside the bathroom where the frig and microwave are. Bed comfortable and a/c not too noisy!"
Harrah's Cherokee Valley River – A Caesars Rewards Destination

"It was our first time visiting and we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel grounds are immaculate and beautifully landscaped. There is plenty of parking, including a large covered parking garage. We reserved a room in the Valley Tower. It was modern, elegant and clean. We were on the top floor and had a beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The casino is nice and offers all of the typical gaming options. We aren't really gamblers, but had some fun playing the slots. There only a few restaurant options and they are somewhat expensive. We ate lunch at the food court (which is very convenient) and dinners in downtown Murphy (which is only a few minutes away). All of the staff that we encountered were friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend the hotel and would return."
Harrah's Cherokee – A Caesars Rewards Destination

"We needed a couple of days away from home, and Harrah's sounded like the right choice. And that it was. Only a 2-hour drive through beautiful mountains and forests, the sprawling landscape of Harrah's was its own marvel. The first day/evening we were there, we walked miles to familiarize ourselves with the locations of the casino, restaurants, shops, bowling and other games, spas and other stuff. We ate at Guy Fieri's restaurant and were served the delicious meal we were hoping to score. Our accomodations were very comfortable. We slept well on the comfy mattress and pillows, the spacious bathroom was well outfitted, we had a great breakfast at the Selu Cafe, and after losing for a while at the Casino, we decided to find the pools. It was a beautiful day, so after we walked the river walk, we opted for the outdoor pool, which was maybe 5 ft. deep. But it was hot, the water felt great and we were able to bask in the sun. We even had a poolside cocktail before we left the area. In the evening, we had another fine dinner at the Soco Smokehouse, did a little more gambling, watched a little tv and went to bed. The only negatives we can site were the elevator hallways, where a little trash was accumulating on the floor and in the elevators, and it was still there the next day. We also felt that the check-in process seemed lengthy, but we arrived at a busy time. We left the next morning, very satisfied with our mini vacay and feeling like we'd really been away."

"The office closes early. I arrived around 8 pm and had to call to check in. The process was easy once I reached the person but I didn't receive instructions in my email. I liked the three pools and the grounds were nice. Centrally located in Townsend, with approximately 20-30 minute drives to Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge."
