Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying in this area. The condo was ok. It appeared mostly clean. The carpet is kinda yucky, looked cleanish at a glance, but definitely not. Surprised they haven't put down some kind of hard flooring. The furniture, appliances and bathroom are a little dated. But it was comfortable enough for us. We did not do any cooking, only made coffee in the kuerig. The location was ok, it was close to the main office and could see the lake and marina. We visited the tiki bar on the site, it has a great view of the lake. Went into town, which is a 3 min drive. Not a lot to offer, it is very small. Has coffee place, a bar, couple of over priced restaurants. We ended up driving to the next town, about 15-20 min drive, and ate dinner there twice. Everyone has their own preference and expectations, so no judgement regarding Grand Rivers, we just didn't like the restaurant options. We rented a pontoon boat (super expensive) for 1 day. The weather cooperated and we had a good day on the lake. Went hiking the other day. There are many hiking trails to explore. Beautiful area. Ratings - Overall experience - 7condo - 7food in close proximity - 5hiking, boating - 9
