“My husband and I enjoyed our stay at The Inn on Pamlico Sound and would highly recommend it to visitors. We were able to quickly relax and unwind while taking in the beautiful view of the sound just outside our window. The inn features a pool, an excellent restaurant on site, a garden, a boardwalk, bikes, umbrellas, and many other amenities. Stay there and enjoy some island time!”

“I booked this for my parents. They loved this house and location. They said altho there were houses on both sides it felt secluded and quiet. They enjoyed the view from the deck, deer on the lawn, and fishing from the pier in the back yard. This is a place they would want to stay at again.”

“Amazing location if you are looking for a secluded feeling but still close enough to all activities! The house is very spacious and kitchen is well stocked for cooking, but definitely bring your own staples. They don’t supply the basics like salt and pepper/ olive oil ect.. The wind here can be pretty aggressive! At least that was our experience. Be prepared to feel the entire house shake! There are only a few pretty weathered outdoor chairs, if you have a big group you may want to bring some……

“Travis the owner is AMAZING. Having him as our neighbor could not have been any better. This review however is for vacasa... The pictures were incorrect i have screen shots of them and the emails i got. The listing said outdoor recreation and stated i would receive a separate email to get discount rentals. WRONG!! After several calls and emails they claim they do not do this. Again i have screen shots of everything. Then to beat all they changed the pictures after i questioned about the kayaks……

“Well appointed. Very spacious. Very clean. Be prepared to climb stairs. I knew what I was booking and the stairs were part of it. Just wanted to alert people that might have elderly, handicapped or bad knees. However, for everyone else the house was very welcoming. Located in a quiet neighborhood on the canals. Plenty of space for everyone. The A/C was fantastic on all floors. The rooms were a great size. The owner should really include a photo of all the kitchen utensils they provide. I brought……

“Breath taking views of sunrise and sunset Plenty of breeze off the sound and no need for AC I would buy this home if it were available on the market. Home was built in 1993 and has held up fine in this island environment. Weathered decking could be a potential issue with splinters for younger kids. King and queen mattress are very firm and need a pillow topper. This only ask is that someone would have let me know what coffee filters that I needed or left a few behind for the next person.”

“The home itself was absolutely wonderful. It is evident that the owners truly want their renters to have a great vacation. The property management, Vacasa, on the other hand ruined our family vacation. In addition to the lack of cleanliness (beds unmade, comforters filthy, dog hair everywhere, used bar soap in the shower, and piles of swept up dirt/hair/sand), within 24hrs of arrival, we received two calls from Vacasa with complaints of occupancy and smoking-which were inaccurate and false.
