“We stayed at the Sunbird Lodge for 3 nights, and it was very peaceful and quiet. It had two twin beds, a set of bunk beds, small kitchenette, television, air conditioning, desk and chair, as well as outdoor patio. The pool was clean and extremely warm, but refreshing. “IF you want to see animals this is your place. The ride from the Safari Lodge along the Sabi river takes about an hour in each direction and you'll see more animals then you've ever seen in your life! Truly. Majestic. Awesome trip. You don't need more than a couple or few days unless you want a safari experience and stay in expensive tents etc. This place is perfect for the casual traveler who wants to see animals animals and more animals. Heavenly! And the lodge is perfect like a vacation place……

“Michael was a top-notch host who greeted me warmly on arrival, made sure I had everything I needed for my comfort, and was a terrific conversationalist. He couldn't have been nicer or more helpful, and even brought me a brown-bag breakfast at 4 am before my morning wildlife tour. The dinner was excellent. And the room was so nice that I didn't even want to leave. I especially enjoyed the outdoor shower. Full marks all around! ”

“Fantastic size and cleanliness with plenty of supplies (milk, tea, coffee, fruit, cleaning products) provided. Staff would assist with anything uncluding washing up and laundry, so not really "self-catering" if you wish. “We stayed 2 nights in Kruger Kumba, which is situated in Marloth Park. Frankly speaking, we were so regret for not extending our stay. The experience was awesome, where there were so many visitors right in front of the patio, not to mention kudu, impala, wildebeest, warthog, zebra etc. Too bad we didn't get to see the bushbabies.
