Hemsby’s prime location makes it an excellent choice for exploring. There are 45 miles of unspoilt coastline to explore and the famous, Norfolk Broads National Park of over 125 miles of navigable lock-free waterways. The rivers are best explored by boats, and daily river trips and boat hire are available locally. Wroxham, known as the capital of the broads, offers riverside restaurants, cafés, shops, daily boat hire and river trips. The traditional seaside resort of Great Yarmouth, 8 miles away, has funfairs, amusements, crazy golf, a pier, a model village, a Sea Life Centre, a Waxwork Museum, a theatre, a cinema, a wide sandy beach, a shopping centre with market and an indoor leisure centre with wave swimming pool and bowling alley.

Enjoy a family day out at Thrigby Wildlife Gardens which has a children’s play area and is just 6 miles away, for shopaholics head to the City of Norwich, 21 miles away, for two indoor shopping malls, a market square, plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafés, a theatre, a castle museum, cinema complexes and a cathedral.
