We arrived at 8.30pm on the Saturday evening as arrived and was ignored by the young man on reception. Once got our keys we went to the room to find the shower in a closet and it was eother steaming hot or freezing cold so showers were impossible. The bed was tiny and the springs stuck in your back as you laid on it. We was there for 2 nights and our room was not cleaned or fresh towels. We then had to move the bed before departure and found wrappers from previous owners and dirt showing that the room wasn't cleaned very well anyway. We didn't expect much from a 2* however at £130 we atleast expected a shower with moving room and a clean room Won't be returning

The embassy hotel great yarmouth

We booked our hotel with you .when arriving we were told the hotel was undergoing decoration and we shud of been told they sent us to a hotel called them embassy hotel great Yarmouth ..it was discusting.dirty shower tray was blocked .curtains hanging off .carpets worn been down decades looked like ..was awfull

Do not stay here!!!

Hotel was not as advertised!!! They don't do breakfast anymore, nobody serving at the bar the whole time we were there, and no daily housekeeping!!! Bathroom had mould around the shower, water never drained properly. Room was OK but carpet was stained, the whole hotel is definately in need of a reburb. I tried to talk to the person in Reception about a few things, but she was very defensive. Security was an issue as anyone could walk into the hotel and get in the rooms as there was nobody in Reception most of the time. We didn't let it spoil out stay, but this is a 1 star budget hotel at best. Could have stayed at a B&B for half the price but I wanted somewhere that did breakfast, and had a bar. I was thoroughly duped and I would like a refund!!!

Words fail me

Stayed for a couple of days in July 2023, place needs a lot of work. I arrived and you kind of know that it’s gonna be one of those places when you’re welcomed by dodging the scaffolding. Asked about facilities and told no bar available, no breakfast, my room had plaster falling off and constant scratching from something in the roof meaning I was unable to get a good nights sleep. Shower tray rocked as you stood on it, wardrobe had 4 broken hangers. Nothing majestic about this place and I would avoid if you are thinking of booking!

Tried ringing hotel got no answer had to leave family early to check everything was ok at the hotel. Lady on reception was very nice. Explained there had been some technical problems. All was ok asked for more pillows sorted very quick. Had dripping taps but did not spoil the stay. Lady on reception put some balloons and a sign on the door for my birthday that was lovely. Would go back

The hotel was dirty, and smelly. Abd is in desperate need of a proper decoration, not the substandard, slapdash effect that had been made, the bed was so uncomfortable, we woke up with aches and pains, nothing about the hotel was nice,

Stay at majestc

Host nickie was excellent, she seemed to be a one man band , if she did have help then they worked quietly in the background, nothing seemed any bother to her , she sorted her hotel duties with total efficiency. Even down to sorting a party out with some help. If we had any complaints the mattress needs some attention, plus somewhere to put clothes when changing, possibly a chair, shower needs a shelf to put your soaps and flannel on.

Basic stay

The room was basic as was the food. We didn’t have hot water and the shower didn’t drain. The water was still on the shower basin after three days. Reported it but nothing was done. Not much was Majestic about the Majestic

The shower was hanging off the wall the broken bathroom cabinet over wash basin meant you could not reach basin to brush your teeth. There was blood on the sheets. There was a nail sticking up on the bathroom floor. Staff were friendly.
