"Marin was there to welcome us and he really made us feel at home!! We had a mishap with our luggage and he was very reassuring that it could be delivered to Villa Fontane at any time and it would be kept safe!! Great suggestions for dining and what to check out while in Trogir. We felt safe and secure in a very busy part of Trogir!!"

"We had a unique room with a balcony. But the ceilings were a little low in areas. Quick walk to downtown Trogir. Breakfast was great, very clean. Would definitely stay there again."

"Loved the location of this hotel in Kaštela which is about 1/2hr from Split and a shorter uber ride in the opposite direction to Trogir which is also a must do. The included bfast was great and set us up for a full busy day in either Split or Trogir. The hot water pressure was low so for our 2 nights here I didn’t bother washing my hair. But both our room (sea facing) and bathroom were spacious which wasn’t the case in some of our other hotels during our Croatia trip. The soap in the shower was empty, I asked front desk n was told they’d fill it when they cleaned the room but it was still empty that evening. We just took the sink soap into the shower and made do. The church bells at the beautiful church right next door do ring very early specially on a Sunday. But we needed to wake up early anyway and the AC fan helped keep the volume lower. The location of the hotel was great. Beautiful walk along the water with a ton of restaurants to choose from. Our dinner at one of them was one of our best meals in Croatia. You’ll be busy exploring Split, Trogir, Fort Klis etc. so coming back to this quiet hotel on a beautiful waterfront, away from loud bars n restaurants in Split, was great!"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Bifora Heritage Hotel. The property itself is beautiful and has so much character. We stayed in what used to be the library, and the room was gorgeous, with beautiful stone walls that gave it a real historic feel while still having an updated, clean and spacious bathroom. What really stood out to us was how welcoming and thoughtful the staff were. The owner actually met us when our Uber arrived and helped carry our bags inside, which was such a nice first impression. We also had an extremely early flight the morning we left, with our Uber picking us up around 5am. Even at that hour, reception was up and had fresh croissants and coffee waiting for us before we left. Those little touches made a huge impression on us. There is also a Michelin Guide restaurant located within the property, which is a pretty unique feature for a small heritage hotel. Overall, Bifora was one of our favourite stays in Croatia. It’s a beautiful property, but it was the genuine hospitality and personal touches that really made the experience memorable. We would absolutely stay here again."
