“My wife and I stayed here for three days/nights in June. We had a great stay. This is really a unique property -- very secluded, quiet and private, yet all of the amenities and comforts and with amazing views nearly 360 around the property. Although the property gives you the sense of being away from it all, it's an easy 15 minute drive to the center of Ukiah, and less than 45 minutes to Healdsburg, which was a perfect location for us. “This place is magical. While the main building (with an excellent restaurant) is stately and unique, we stayed at The Brambles in a redwood grove. Being from Santa Cruz, we’re used to redwoods, but these trees—especially the Pachyderm—are amazing. The combination of Steam Punk and farmhouse decor is whimsical and delightful. The Front Door rooms are spacious and lovely. Our only tiny suggestion is that the shower heads are cleaned of hard water build up frequently. The shower flow came……

“We had a nice stay- we walked from the cabin to the hotel for dinner and had a great time. We also walked over to the bakery in the morning for scones and empanadas. The creek runs the behind the house. There is no wifi or cable so it was a good opportunity to unplug and relax.”

“We had a group of 13. Ages from 5-79 years old. The house and grounds was magnificent. Great kitchen! Great outdoor BBQ area. We all loved the pool. The master bedroom and 4 casitas made it great so we all had our own spaces. Will definitely come back again!”

There is a coffee shop and pizza restaurant in the building and other places nearby. We ate breakfast at The Bluebird Cafe but next time I’d go for the coffee shop as they offer handmade breakfast sandwiches that look really good. ”
