"House was excellent. Nicely furnished inside and out, tastefully decorated, and the view of the lake and mountains from the upper deck and the upper living area was awesome. Outside furniture on the deck was super comfortable, not plastic adirondacks that you see in some of the rentals. Going to mention a couple of things that do not take away from my five star rating nor our overall enjoyment of the stay, but that might help for future rentals. The master bedroom on the main(upper) level has a closet in it that is locked, therefore leaving no closet space and no place for hanging clothes. We ended up hanging our clothes on the hand rail leading to the lower level. 2ndly, the same master bedroom strangely had no lamps on the bedside night stand and there was only one nightstand on one side of the king bed. Because we like to read in bed before we fall asleep, we improvised a second night stand and bought two cheap lamps from the local dollar store. Again, just ideas for the owners/managers to make it even better; this was one of our favorite rentals and stays anywhere, and would recommend it highly. "

"We just needed a quick drive to get us a new view and some time away from our day to day chaos before the oldest son headed to college. This spot allowed us just that! We enjoyed the hot tub, spacious layout, private location, wildlife viewings from the deck…it was a great stay. Easy to get to the shops in town, the races, etc. All the beds were comfortable, too!! We found the kitchen to be easy to use and well-supplied with basic kitchen items. We enjoyed coffee on the deck and dinner too! Would definitely stay again. "
"The room was super cute -Had a fireplace -very spacious. The king size bed was one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in -just the atmosphere outside was wonderful-had coffee on the deck watching the sun come up. It’s just cozy and cute and I can’t wait to come back in winter and ski!"
"Absolutely beautiful location! Breathtaking views, away from town, secluded drive up the mountain. Very clean and easy to navigate through check in through check out. Partially furnished with kitchen/cooking supplies (pots and pans) but if planning to do a lot of it, I'd take your own supplies. Wonderful place for a weekend getaway and our favorite in Ruidoso! We will be booking there for our yearly trip."
