「A luxury cottage in a beautiful setting. Tastefully furnished with a pretty garden. Unfortunately the countryside setting wasn’t that peaceful as sporadically two very loud men were working on restoring some vintage double decker buses in the adjoining barn - language and diesel fumes not so welcome.」

「The potting shed is definitely a hidden gem, its little but had everything we needed, it was spotless with a lovely garden for our dog to explore. The twin baths outside were a really nice way to unwind after a day sightseeing and there’s plenty of dog friendly restaurants locally. I would recommend the lazy fox for great service and lovely food.」

「Beautiful location. Extremely clean. Just some minor issues that would have made it even better. The hut was extremely hot and the automatic provision of a fan would have really helped. Quicker response from the manager regarding issues would have helped too. Overall a lovely stay but I wouldn’t stay again when it’s hot weather.」

「We stayed at Deer Hut on 26th August for our anniversary. Unfortunately, the stay was not as comfortable as we expected. When we opened the door, there were lots of flies around the lights, and the back window was open when we arrived. There was also a spider in the bathroom, which made my wife very scared and uncomfortable. Because of these issues, we couldn’t relax properly and didn’t sleep well that night. We were looking forward to a nice and relaxing anniversary stay, so unfortunately this...
