"We had an amazing stay here, for one night, as we traversed the Cabot Trail. Staff were awesome and the breakfast was the best we’ve had in a hotel in a long, long time. So many choices, cooked hot and brought to the buffet in a steady stream. A terrific variety of tea, plus coffee. One note: many of the rooms are up one floor and there is no elevator, so if stairs are a consideration for you, ask for a main-floor room. Would 10/10 stay here again!"

"Great apartment for 4 people. The kitchen was well equipped. We used the BBQ every night. The local food market was surprisingly well stocked. Great communication from the host for check in. Easy to find."

"It took a few minutes to figure out where the key was for our cabin but the cabin was very nice and clean. I’m not sure if it was worth the price for a couple. We didn’t need two bedrooms. It would be a better value for 3+ people."

"Our stay in the Spruce's Aurora cottage was perfect, though close to the road, it was very quiet. Comfy bed, every thing was clean, and a good place to prepare meals. The location was great for exploring Cape Breton's eastern coast"
