"Beautiful hotel. Great food. Nice staff. Beware of the location…. We arrived by train and was forced to get transportation to the hotel which cost us 200 euros. The hotel is 45 minutes from the train station and it is a ghost town. There are no taxis available at the train station. Make your arrangements before arrival. "

We tried both dining options for dinner--the informal as well as the Michelin-starred dining room--and both were excellent. The latter was one of the best meals we've ever had anywhere, and we're serious food people who live in New York. We'll be back."

We felt as if we stepped back in time and were reminded of what outstanding service and accommodations should be like ~ a much needed respite after a busy week in Florence. The restaurants were outstanding. Top notch property and my husband referred to Borgo Santo Pietro as the most beautiful hotel he’s ever stayed at. So very grateful. The Heils"

"It was easy to get to the hotel for a one-night stay whilst travelling from Pisa airport to the south of Italy. The room was well laid out, clean and had all the facilities we needed for the stay. We were informed about the air-conditioning being managed from the reception area if we wanted it changed. It was convenient to have somewhere to eat across the road as we arrived after 7pm. It was quiet during the night. Breakfast was good with a variety of options. The only minus was discovering a previous guest's blood stain on the duvet one of us had used overnight, which I pointed out to the staff as we checked out."
