We had a great time staying at The Grove. Sean is a great host, and the house is lovely. We really enjoyed having a fire going in the fireplace and feeding carrots to Harold the pony in the paddock next door

A lovely old farmhouse in a very charming little part of rural Victoria but close to all the amenities of Echuca. Ideal for families, and apparently pet friendly too although I wasn't travelling with pets on this occasion.

Relaxing stay

House had lots of old charm but still all the comforts of home. Dogs were intrigued by the cows and goats, Pony was my favourite. Great base to explore the region

Cute spot for a getaway

Such a cute, little house on a gorgeous property! We loved being welcomed by the pony and feeding him carrots. Sean had amazing communication and even had the fireplace going before we arrived to warm the place up. I loved that the exterior doors' handles were up higher so I didn't have to worry about my toddler letting herself out. We brought our 2 dogs with us and it was a super pet-friendly location with a closed in yard. It's a lovely spot for a rest and reset. Our walk along Gunbower Creek was a highlight to our stay here.

Home away from home ..

We have now stayed here multiple times! It is such a great place and always has extra little touches included.. so many things to do and lots to explore in the area. Our dogs love having a walk and swim. We will be back again for sure!

Great place to chill out

Fantastic house to relax and enjoy the farm with all the animals visiting, Harold the pony, the goats and cows, the wild birds and beautiful stars at night. Loved that we were also able to take our dogs with us who also enjoyed their time on the property.

Great get away

The cottage farm stay was awesome. Perfect to bring our two dogs as there was a fully fenced back yard and the creek across the road for swims. The kayaking was a highlight, as well as the mini horse and goats. The host was very accommodating and communication was very easy. Overall a very enjoyable relaxing stay.

Convenient location

Book to stay for the weekend. Very convenient as close to Gunbower. Very clean and had all required facilities. Sean easy to communicate with. Situated on a farm .thank you for the stay.

How’s the serenity

We were in town for a friends wedding so staying only a few minutes from the reception was perfect. Very relaxing with all the comforts from home plus more. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing break.
