“This is an incredibly nice hotel with lots of interesting artifacts on display, an excellent conference room, nice continental breakfast, and very comfortable and spacious rooms. There are no elevators but there are only 2 floors. This may influence your decision whether to stay here if stairs are a problem for you. The staff members are articulate, very friendly and helpful. There is a local college at which many of the staff attend when not working at the hotel. The hotel offers snacks……

“Property needs major updates and a thorough cleaning. Good location, but the room left a lot to be desired. Did not want to use the mini fridge or microwave due to condition. There are nicer places for the same price in neighboring towns.”

“We ending up getting a room at a different hotel this one was so bad. Stained bedding. Dirty towels. Horribly lumpy pillows. Bad odors. You name it.”

“The room and experience were great! Online checkin was a bit of challenge bc Expedia could not relay the messages from the hotel to me. A quick call to the hotel got what I needed. The room was super clean, convenient to what I needed and very cute. Would stay again, but likely would book direct.”

“Check-in was stressful, they did not have the confirmation # and I had to call Expedia for more information. We had already paid online. April? the desy clerk was kind to help me through this. Was a pain though. Breakfast is same old, same old. Coffee cold, hot water Luke warm, bland offerings.”

“The whole place is just nasty”

“ Motel was very run down, door was open when we arrived and the heater did not work. It was 20 degrees outside and the room was very cold. When we asked for help, the staff implied that we broke the heater by simply trying to turn it on. Said to give it some time because I pushed too many buttons (on, high, heat were pushed). When we asked to be transferred to another room, staff indicated the room we were in was the best one they had. We were moved to an adjacent identical room. The doors……

“My TV wasn’t working when I arrived but the staff did a great job of changing it out. The property was fine, just a lot of construction. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful.”

“The renovated suite was wonderful! The breakfasts were really good. Several of the breakfast supplies were low or out and when asking the staff, she said to look at the other stations and continued to stay in the kitchen area. Not friendly.”
