「We could not have asked for a better place, very comfortable, spacious, a very welcoming host (even invited us to dinner at his son’s restaurant), but the best part was an amazing property. If you love old farm houses this as good as it gets!We did the Driftless 100 in Elkader and stayed 2 nights maximizing everything from the modern kitchen to the comfy living room & beds to a perfectly placed fire pit to watch the sunset and sip bourbon after the race. 」

「My son and grandson were there for a field of dreams tournament... The house had everything they needed and just as described.. very clean and cozy... The host is amazing. Responding super fast when you have a question.. if we ever go back would definitely look into this property again」

「Our family loved staying at this home! Everything about it was wonderful! The beautiful view overlooking Dubuqe county, indoor swimming pool, parking, and pickleball court were all amazing! Many thanks also for being a great host!」

「Nice stay, parking was difficult as we were told to park on the street in front of the property and there was rarely an open parking spot. Dining area was limited but we made do.」

「This was a fun little cottage perfect for me and a friend to get away for a weekend. The property provided enough space to do activities outside, including a short trail they have around the property as well as enough space to watch movies and play games inside when we weren't out and about doing things in the area. Definitely plan to stay here again if I do more trips to the Mcgregor area. 」

「The property was niclely set up and quiet while we were there. Yard and porches are great along with the fire pit lighting to enjoy a nice night. There is boat landings down the road and the fishing was great. 10 miles down the river from lock 9. We pulled alot pf fish. 😁」
