You sign in using a machine and you can’t drop your luggage in advance, or leave them there after which is frustrating when you’re arriving earlier. No human interaction at all, but the room is truly beautiful and it has an outdoor shower."

"This was our favorite place that we stayed at in Japan. The host is extremely communicative, friendly and so accommodating. He was at the location when we checked in and gave us a tour of the home.
