Our lovely 2-acre property, with seasonal fruit for you to enjoy, is all about peace, quiet & tranquil serenity. Fully licensed & permitted as a B&B.

Palm Cottage is a spacious rental cottage with a large kitchen / dining area / living room open floor plan and plenty of room to spread out and relax. The two bedrooms are on either side of the bathroom to allow for privacy. There's a dedicated workspace desk if you are working remotely, or just need to catch up on email. Enjoy coastal ocean views from the living room, bedroom 1 and the lanai. Our lovely 2-acre property, with seasonal fruit for you to enjoy, is all about peace, quiet & tranquil serenity.

A peaceful, clean, getaway perfectly located in the bucolic Maui countryside away from the crowds. You’ll experience the sounds of wind in the trees, tropical birdsong and native wildlife including laughing geckos and chuckling chickens. Enjoy the clear skies; sun, rainbows and showers by day, stars, moon and milky way by night.

We’re perfectly located near the start of "The Road to Hana" for you to explore beautiful Maui, and also within an easy drive of Haleakala Crater for another great day trip, sunrise or sunset. A great location for hiking, waterfalls, beaches, shopping and restaurants in Haiku, Pa'ia and Makawao and so much more....

The full kitchen (fridge/freezer, electric range, sanitizing dishwasher, coffee maker, microwave, kettle, all dishes and utensils) has everything you need to cook for meals in. There's a propane grill outside as well. The spacious great room with comfy seating and smart TV is open to the kitchen. Both bedrooms have air-conditioning. There are ceiling fans in all rooms for added breeze and a whole-house cooling fan. There is also a full-size Samsung washer/dryer for your private use.

Your private lanai is a perfect place for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine or dinner while gazing across the lush setting to the ocean. Comfy dining seating for four is provided on the lanai. There is also a dining table for four inside should you choose.

Palm Cottage is located on 2 acres with numerous fruit trees for you to pick fruit (depending on what’s in-season). Citrus, Avocado, Lychee, Guava, Papaya, Bananas, Cherries and more besides.

Breakfast: We provide packaged snacks and breakfast food items for you to have a self-catered light-island breakfast at the time of your choosing. Tea and coffee are also provided. The above is meant as a starter supply of breakfast foods to get you going until your first grocery shopping trip. But let us know if you need restocking on any items.

Location: Palm Cottage is a peaceful, rural location to get away from crowds and enjoy nearby waterfalls, hiking and communing with nature, but still close to shops and restaurants. We're about 10 minutes to the nearest beaches (Hookipa, Baldwin, Sprecklesville), great restaurants and 20 minutes from Costco, Walmart and Target in Kahului. If you prefer the South/Central beaches of Kihei they are just a short 30 minute drive away. Jaws Country Store is just 2-minutes from Palm Cottage that also serves to-go food and coffee/smoothies.

Nearby things to do: We’re located near the beginning of “The Road to Hana” and so there’s plenty to do right here. It's a beautiful tropical location, with lush greenery and flowers and impressive waterfalls close by. Twin falls is a short distance away, also Na ili ili-haele Stream & Waterfall and Waikamoi Nature Trailhead. The Gardens in Haiku are nearby and The Garden of Eden Arboretum is a short drive away. There’s great stores and galleries in Paia and Makawao (approx 6 miles each) or visit Haleakala Crater for that once in a lifetime experience.

Whatever you choose to do throughout the day, you can relax on your private lanai (deck) for a peaceful evening to end your day in total privacy.
