Oceanside oasis

The halfmoon Bay resort was a lovely place to stay. Even though our weekend was incredibly rainy, we managed to walk the Smugglers Cove and there was plenty of space and boardgames for our large family to spend time together inside. In good weather, the beach would be another awesome place to spend the day! Our only complaint was the amount of people walking around the property. The Owner did mention a few ppl who we might see, but it felt like there was people coming and going at all times of the day. So didn't feel very private.

Terrific Spot for Family Reunion

The view was so spectacular that we did not need to go anywhere else. Both the main house and the cottage were homey and comfortable and I'm not sure if I could choose between them if I had to. Magical setting, eating at the outside table overlooking the water and snow-capped mountain. Sooo special! Both places roomy to accommodate our group, and cable upstairs so we could catch the Raptors win the series. We had a great week!

Amazing!

This was a great getaway for our large family group. The setting is amazing and the property large enough that people can be together or pursue more solitary pursuits. The children enjoyed playing on the beach or soccer and hockey in the upper area close to the house. The rooms were all well appointed and comfortable. Our only complaint was the lack of a stove in the kitchen as we were a big group to cater for, but we were able to use the barbecue and the downstairs kitchen. We were blessed with good weather, but if it had not been good the house was well stocked with games and TV and movies. Would love to return another time to this great property.
