Your apartment is new, modern, and close to the city center—just 2 km away. It’s an ideal starting point for quickly reaching the city center, the harbor, a theater, the Elfie, or Miniatur Wunderland by subway, commuter rail, or bus.
Make yourself at home! You’ll be staying in my building, in a separate and private apartment. Your apartment is comfortably furnished. A supermarket and numerous dining options are just a few steps away.
The Outer Alster is within walking distance and is perfect for strolling or water sports. Not far away, you can rent pedal boats or stand-up paddleboards.
The street where you’ll be staying is very lively: cafés, a supermarket and a discount store, numerous restaurants, street food vendors, and nightclubs—you’ll find all of this right on our street. A bakery is also open on Sundays and holidays.
The 40-square-meter apartment is accessible via a staircase as a separate unit. It features an open-concept living and sleeping area with a cozy queen-size bed (160x200). From the comfort of your bed, you can relax and watch TV in the evenings.
A cozy couch invites you to unwind in the evenings. For groups of more than two people, the couch’s sleeper function—with a sleeping surface of approximately 120x200 cm—is used. An additional mattress is placed on top for even greater comfort.
If you’re traveling as a couple and would like separate sleeping arrangements, please let us know before your arrival so we can set it up for you.
You’ll, of course, find your beds freshly made. I place great importance on beds that are hygienically spotless. I have the bed linens professionally cleaned at a laundry service, as well as the comforters and pillows. The mattress topper is replaced several times a year. Of course, all other areas of the apartment and the bathroom are also spotless, so you can feel right at home.
The kitchen is small but well-equipped. It has practically everything you need. In addition to a stainless steel sink, countertop, and a 2-burner ceramic cooktop, the kitchen also features a spacious refrigerator with a 4-star freezer compartment. A microwave with an oven function and a dishwasher round out the compact kitchen. Of course, you’ll also find everything needed for a well-equipped kitchen to accommodate up to 4–6 people.
The 6-square-meter shower room is functional yet has a cozy atmosphere. The shower is spacious (100x110). A hair dryer and fresh towels (1 hand towel + 1 bath towel per guest) are provided.
The entryway features a coat rack, a wall mirror, and a large closet for your clothes.
If you ever find that something you need is missing, please let me know as your host. I’m sure I’ll be able to help you out at short notice.
A note for anyone seeking seclusion and quiet: You’ll be staying in a central part of Hamburg on a busy street. Therefore, please expect typical inner-city traffic noise. While new triple-glazed windows significantly reduce street noise, you should still expect to hear the sound of passing cars, especially in the summer when the windows are open.
Additional information: If you’re traveling to Hamburg by car, please be aware that parking is very limited. Almost everywhere in the city center, there are only paid short-term parking spaces.
Upon request, I can provide you with a visitor parking permit (the fee is €3 per day, payable in cash upon arrival). This allows you to use all public parking spaces in the immediate vicinity. If you’d like this, please let me know before your arrival and send me your license plate number.
There are four free public parking spaces right outside my front door. With a little luck, you can of course park your car there for free.
During your stay, I recommend using Hamburg’s public transportation system and leaving your car parked. There are attractive deals available for tourists.
