Staying in Kawhia

We have stayed in this property before and will definitely stay there again. Its all you could want in a B&B, all the amenities you are likely to need plus a few. The owners are easy to deal with and lovely people. The area is easy to drive around and get to places well worth seeing. Definitely recommend this property

Peace in Kawhia

Driveway very steep, property well maintained, lovely garden, clean and homely inside, everything there you would need for a few nights' stay, including cleaning equipment so that you can leave it the way you found it. We would definitely recommend this property

Totally recommend this B&B

Really lovely owners, friendly and helpful. The facility is beautifully set out everything you could need, comfortable beds, great shower like getting a massage. Really handy and close to town, beach etc. Would seriously recommend can comfortably accommodate 6 with lovely outside area. Many thanks to our lovely hosts.

We really enjoyed our one night. Enjoyed a game of Scrabble outside on a warm evening surrounded by lovely garden fragrances. Great strolling distance from town and while living area is cosy it is more than adequate. Would definitely recommend this little gem to anyone wishing a quiet break away

This accommodation is conveniently located just outside of Kawhia ( a relaxed stroll away). The 2 bedroom unit is nice, clean and quite new. We thought it perfect for a short stay. We appreciated the BBQ outside as well as the screens on some of the doors and windows. Ray gave some friendly advice about nearby

Kawhia weekend

Monty's BB was an excellent choice for our weekend stay in Kawhia. From the ease of booking to our arrival & departure. Accommodation was very well laid out and had everything we needed. It was a lovely peaceful location with just a quick 10 minute walk into town. We especially enjoyed the outdoor BBQ area.Our host, Monty, recommended some sites to visit & a day ride on the motorbike. We took his advice and had an awesome day out.Would also recommend a visit to the Boat club for a drink & a meal with some great views.

Near the water and close to town

Good location. Only met Ray who was very nice and friendly. He gave us some local advise. Close to water and town. Great for fishing. Had meal at The Sands. Very nice. Great for unwinding.

Happy stay

We had stayed at the property earlier this Year and really enjoyed the lovely bach and Kawhia beaches & community. We unfortunately had to change our booking for August stay due to our Chartered Fishing Trip was cancelled due to rough sea conditions and arranged another stay in which we were assisted by Helen and Ray to stay at the bach in October, all goes well with the weather. we can go on our Fishing Trip.
