“Four humans and one dog stayed at the BRH while in town for a canoe race! The house was welcoming and perfectly clean. Plenty of towels, blankets and a kitchen stocked with appliances that we cooked in. Nice neighborhood for dog walks and easy to get to grocery stores! Check in and out process was seamless and everything was accurately represented! Would certainly highly recommend!!”

“The property was exactly as represented. It has all the basic necessities. The location was perfect. Right on the lake so we could do our ice fishing right from the porch. Check in and out was easy. The only small downside was the parking. I have a suburban so there was not a lot of space in front of the cottage for it to fit and be completely off the road. I was a little nervous it would get clipped by someone driving by.”

“Our stay in Penobscot was absolutely perfect. The home is located right on the bay with beautiful sunset views across the water. We loved taking walks down the beach and coffee on the porch, our daughter had a great time exploring and playing on the beach as well. Can’t recommend this home enough, also had great communication with Vanessa who was super nice and helpful with any questions we had!”

“Judith, our host was very accommodating. We were there for the solar eclipse. Judith provided information about the eclipse along with viewing glasses. The house is located in a quite neighborhood. I had a couple of conversations with the neighbors. They were friendly people. Parking was convenient. Lots of room on the main floor. We slept well. The beds were comfy but sturdy. All the bedrooms and baths are upstairs. We're thankful to Judith for letting us stay here. It was the most relaxing……

“This property was a lot of fun to stay at. It’s a charming, rustic two story cottage with plenty of room for the 10 of us traveling together. It’s 5-10 minutes from Ellsworth and 45 minutes from Acadia. We really enjoyed our time there. Our host, Jon, was great. Each time I contacted him, he responded almost immediately and was very helpful. All towels and linens are provided and there’s plenty of pans and dishes for cooking. We had a little trouble watching a movie (it kept buffering and……

“We truly adore this charming cottage! This was our 3rd stay. The grounds are so lovely and perfect for relaxing or walking our pups around. The cottage is so cozy and so comfortable with everything you might need to relax or cook a meal or take a nice hot shower. The Wi-Fi is excellent as well. The Hosts are wonderful kind and so accommodating. Molly and Marist were super sweet girls as well.”
