Located at the top of a mountain in the Cherokee National Forest, this home is the perfect getaway from the city with no street lights or engine noise! 4/10 of a mile to Lake Watauga and the Appalachian Trail. >15 mins to zip lines, hiking & under an hour to the NC ski slopes. Route to home is on paved, all season roads. Driveway is steep, but parking available on the street also. NO FIRES ALLOWED ON THIS PROPERTY.
The space
Rocking chair porches on 2 stories separated by a spiral staircase offer 1 bedroom/2 bath upstairs & 2 bed/half bath downstairs. Washer/dryer also on site.
Other things to note
No campfires or ANY fires allowed on this property. The driveway is very steep. Downstairs there are beams that sit low and guests could potentially hit their head if they aren't paying attention. See photos for details.
