"This is a small, family-run hotel. The setting is a little rustic, but so is all of Rapa Nui. The room was perfect for one or two people. It is a 15 min walk to the town. There is ample parking for cars. It is quiet (except for a few chickens -- island life). The owner picked me up at the airport, and drove me back a few days later. "It was very comfortable to stay at this resort in Rapa Nui. The rooms are comfortable and quirky, but the real value is in the amenities. The staff is so friendly and helpful. You need to have your expectations in the right place. This is an extremely isolated island -- one of the most remote places in the world -- so obtaining building supplies and such is a challenge, so most places are behind on maintenance when compared to other locations around the globe. Just accept this as part of the experience or this is not the right destination for you."
