4/10 Poor

This was an interesting experience, keep in mind this house is near Harare Zimbabwe. My biggest issue is that the property is shared with two other housing units and was not disclosed in the add. The pool was being used by other guests we were unaware of and the water was dirty. They played their music loudly without regard to other guests. If I had known this was a shared property with other units I would not have stayed here. The price was excellent, no complaints about the price. The house was ok for Zimbabwe standards but does not meet standards of Europe or the U.S.A. One fan of the house was on the feeling in the sitting room ceiling. It worked fine but each of the bedrooms really need a portable fan in the summer months. Sleeping was very difficult to say the least. Be aware that homes in Zim don’t have window screens, so if you leave the windows open for the evening to stay cool all the mosquitoes and bugs find their way in. The one fan that was in one of the rooms had chewed up wires and didn’t work at all. It was unsafe electrically and does not meet the standards of safety for use. The washing machine may have worked but the electrical cord was badly damaged and was poorly repaired. It was also unsafe to use and could have caused harm or injury to anyone trying to use it. Part way through our stay we had a rat in the house trying to eat through our food boxes. We ended up using the fridge to keep all our food in to protect it from the rat.
