I enjoyed the walk down to the water, which is close by.
Kitchen was well stocked.
I, too, felt a railing on the stairs would be helpful.

「The property was not what I initially expected, but in a good way. Its not a hotel. these are individual "suites" that open up to the back deck, or to the front. The suites are quite large, which was very nice for my family. Huge bathroom, and a large comfortable foldout couch. Window fans are provided, which enabled us to enjoy the cool fresh air from Stonington! The back deck is huge, tons of room to relax and take in the harbor. 「Road noise, even with ear plugs, was a lot. Did not like having thermostat control. Host was responsive to remote temperature change request. The curtains and lack of curtains allow in too much light from passing cars and the sun. The bed was smaller than I expected. However it was mentioned in the description. The home itself was very beautiful and cozy. Nice view. Loved the books and board games available in the home. You can tell the host takes pride in their property. 」
