Overall a good location.Patio door faulty, chairs wobbly.Kitchenware needed washing before use Coffee machine faulty.Upstairs shower trap filthy needed clearing to stop overflow.Some small blood spots on sheets.

House was lovely, rooms are spacious and the clean although we did find the 2 dog bowls under the sink hadnt been cleaned and had the brown jelly remnants from dog food left in them. We were staying Monday to Friday and were hoping to go out for a meal on the Tuesday but the one in the village is closed on. a Tuesday, others were not serving food until 6:30 and another the landlord had gone fishing so no food being served. I would definitely check before going if you are wanting to eat out that there is somewhere open and serving as the nearest large supermarket is a 30min drive away and the local take away doesn’t take debit card cash only. The location for access to the dales is great and ideal for those wanting to enjoy the most of what Yorkshire has to offer.
