Our cabin, standing on a 1.6 acre piece of land that was home to Camp Makwan - a boys camp from 1939 to the mid-1980s, offers a unique blend of history and natural beauty. The waterfront stretches 170ft with a gradual sandy walk-in (great for young kids) and enjoy kayaking, canoeing or paddleboarding with the available equipment.

Lakefront Cottage with sandy walk in and stunning views!
- Our cabin stands on a 1.6 acre piece of land that was home to Camp Makwan - a boys camp from 1939 to the mid-1980s. You will notice 2 of the original cabins still located on our property! The waterfront stretches 170ft with a gradual sandy walk-in (great for young kids) and a long dock you can jump or dive off. Kayaks, a canoe and SUP are available for guests to use. The cabin is spacious, sleeping 10 guests in 4 bedrooms and a pullout couch.

A wonderful time
We couldn't have hoped for a better place to spend the long weekend. The cottage was wonderful with enough room for everyone. Megan was very nice and communication was very fast and smooth.
I would recommend this place to everybody.

Lakeside Wedding!
Our family recently spent Thanksgiving weekend at Megan’s beautiful cottage. There is absolutely nothing lacking! The cottage itself is completely equipped with everything you could need and want! Enough space to all be together or spread out either inside or on the huge wrap around deck relaxing and enjoying the view of the lake! The outside grounds of the cottage is just as impressive! We had our wedding ceremony down on the lakeside deck and it was perfect!
Communication with Megan was excellent and we truly appreciated her sharing her beautiful family cottage with us!
