“I always worry about booking a place that isn't run by a Superhost, or a hotel. You never know what you walking into, and whether there is anyone who can help. We arrived at 6:30pm. Lots of day light left, so no issues finding the place, or getting in. The WiFi was down, and we needed a blanket. Called the support phone number at 7pm. The answering service took a message. At 9am the next day (after we'd left, and been on the road for an hour) we got a text asking if we still needed help.……

“The room was clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The parking was right in front of the room and the area was well lit at night. I will consider this place again when visiting the Outer Banks.”

“Always a good clean place to stay here at cape pines. Owners and staff are beyond nice and keep this place clean and tight. I live a few hours away and stay here often for work several days at a time. Never had a bad experience and would recommend to anyone. Good honest folks ”

“Property its self is suitable. However the beach access is horrible! We couldn’t fully enjoy ourself because there was so much concrete and sewage in the waters. Dead fish all up and down beach! ”

“There is no beach front due to erosion. Ocean view? - the ocean was going under the motel. Could not regulate room temperature and windows would not open to catch the ocean breeze. Floor by entrance door was damaged , lifted, cracked and soft. Don’t let the website pictures fool you! ”

“ Easy check in at 5pm. Room was fine except TV didn't work first night but next morning the maintenance guy fixed TV access. Very convenient location for fishing the OBX.”
