The two houses have been lovingly restored in keeping with the period of the property which made for an extravagant setting for us. Each room is lovely with its own period furniture and features and everything worked as expected. "Had a wonderful week in Andelot-Blancheville. We were met by Bernadette and taken through the property and shown where everything was. It is a charming house very much in the French style but has great modern extras, the fantastic HEATED swimming pool being the highlight. We had a large clean gas bbq too which was great. The downstairs bathroom is a little dated but was clean and practical. The upstairs shower room is modern. The only downside was the flies (which is out of everyone's control)...

Cependant la maison n'est pas réellement adaptée pour 4 personnes, pas suffisamment de serviettes de bain ni de vaisselle (manque tasses, bols, etc.). Le frigo est suffisant si vous passez un week-end mais un peu petit pour un séjour de plus longue durée. L'endroit calme et paisible. Une très bonne maison tout de même !"

"What a warm welcome we had to this beautiful rustic gîte in a quiet rural setting. The hot days were made more bearable by the thick walls and cool interior, and the shaded spots in the garden suited us down to the ground - although there was plenty of sunshine too if you wanted.Our three dogs loved the huge, fenced garden. Thanks Anja for being available when needed and for looking after us so well :)"
