“We stayed for one night in room 129 on the first floor of the new extension at the rear of the hotel. The room was just what we wanted - modern with a large bed and a good size bathroom. We had a lovely meal in the busy restaurant. In the morning the hotel (along with the whole of Blenheim) had a power cut. This did not affect us too much as we were flying to Auckland the following day. Would definitely recommend the Chateau as it is conveniently placed and had ample parking. ”

“We loved our stay. Lovely grounds and close to many wineries. We rented bikes from Mandy and, on the bike path and small roads near the Homestay, visited four local vineyards for tasting and lunch. Just a caution, these generally need to be prebooked. A wonderful stay overall”

“Although the reception is not opened for 24 hours, the duty staffs were helpful and friendly. The location of the hotel is a little bit far from the ferry terminal, it is still OK because Picton is safe even we needed to walk in the darkness between the terminal and the hotel. In addition, two supermarkets are not far away. I will choose this hotel again if I come back especially the room rate is reasonable. ”
