"Ideally located at Russel Square, one block from the tube and several bus routes, the hotel is truly in the middle of everything. London is huge. Traffic is terrible. Crowds of tourists are everywhere. Being in the middle means less impact by those factors when you want to go out.
The breakfast buffet is absolutely first class. The only thing missing is a cook-to-order omelet station but the rest is so varied you really do not miss it. The coffee station needs to be upgraded.
The bar is very inviting and adjacent to the restaurant. I only sampled a shrimp cocktail (really good) at the bar so cannot comment on the restaurant, but it looks nice.
Rooms are small, but this is central London and a bargain in the location. In-room coffee is inadequate.
