“Vandel is a very quiet village and it wasnt far to walk to the supermarket. We didnt have a car so it was great to have the bus stop a minute from the door. The bus was always on time. Our apartment was the perfect stay for all our legoland activities and very clean, tidy and everything worked. We arrived around 11pm and had a code to enter the property and initially thought this was for the black keysafe. I messaged the property contact via whatsapp and they responded immediately to advise you……

“Fundamentally this is not worth the price. A kitchen is NOT a hotplate on a work surface by a sink, which is all you get; not even a microwave. Yes, the cabin is a fun experience for kids, but the second 'bedroom' with bunks is incredibly cramped & the cabins are all packed in tight together. With young children, the noises nearby, in the evening, can be really disruptive. The cleaning staff are clearly overworkes too: there were stains on the mattress protector (see photo) and the sofa had……

“Checking in was simple at the main reception area of Helle Hallen. Receiptionist is super friendly and had prepared the key before we arrived. Breakfast is pre-packed and stored in the fridge, ready to be collected every morning. Fresh bed sheet are packed in sealed plastic bag. You will have to spread your own pillow case, quilt cover and bedsheet. I got a cabin with 4 single bunk bed. The second level is very low. Be careful if you're tall. A small fridge is available for you to store drink……
