「The house was set up perfectly for our large group. Open spaces, a full kitchen to make meals in, and close proximity to the lake. We did not rent a boat for our stay but having the boat slip was a core reason I wouldn't return. With a group of 14 we had inflatable tubes and kayaks that we tied up in our slip instead and the slip gave us a place to set up for the day and float. The house is new and beautifully decorated. 「Great place, location to Mountain lake Marina where we met our Goliath guide Dave. It is right on the water, very peaceful Love it's pet friendly, he loved it too.」

「Our group of 12 (ranging from 6-66 years old), recently stayed here for the second time. We visited Norris Lake and stayed at this rental two years ago and we constantly talked about it being the best family trip we've taken, so we decided to do it again. The location of the house is amazing, perfect size for our big group, has limited steps down to the dock (compared to the other houses along the lake). The views are amazing, outdoor kitchen and fire pit is awesome. Our group had the best time....

「We had a great stay in this cabin. The views from the porch were amazing, especially at sunrise. It’s only 15 minutes to Royal Blue and Tackett trail heads. The hosts were GREAT, very responsive and helpful. We will definitely book here again. 」

「Shady Pines was so lovely, we booked another trip after we'd been there only a day into our 4-night stay! The house is super cute (just as pictured), with a really well-stocked kitchen, a spectacular view, and a truly relaxing atmosphere. It's easy to travel to--our group came from Ohio, Virginia, and Arkansas. And it's not as far "out of town" as it might look on a map, so there's plenty of stores and restaurants nearby if desired. We mostly preferred to stay in, as this was a writing getaway...
